Very nice and cozy hotel, warm atmosphere. We also found a small bag with snacks, homemade cookies and water in the room. Breakfast is really nice, tasty and homemade specialties. Friendly and kind staff.
We stayed here for a family wedding. Bride reserved all rooms for family & friends. This B&B was very nice. The dinner & breakfast was delicious. The service was outstanding. Thank you Darrel for taking excellent care of your guest!!
Stayed here for the first time for a work trip. Rooms are clean and neat. Little touches like a homemade brownie in the room was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast that comes with the room is top notch. Would recommend the breakfast burrito. Only issue was the Wi-Fi wasn’t working but was a town issue and not their fault. I will be staying here again in the future.
I wasn't sure what to expect during this small-town excursion (we booked 3 rooms for a mini family reunion), but everything--including the property and restaurant, the individual rooms, the cleanliness, and the hospitality--exceeded our expectations. From thoughtful attention to our elderly family members' needs (including 1st-floor accommodations, sidewalk ramp, and step-in shower); to delicious fresh baked cookies, coffee, and water in each room; to convenient keyless access; to adorable pup mascots---our stay was top-notch. The made-to-order hot breakfasts (get that burrito!) were a special treat, and I can't say enough about the prompt, personalized service from the entire staff. It's clear the business owners take great pride in providing guests an exceptional experience, with super comfortable beds and bedding and smartly placed furniture in beautifully decorated spaces. Plus, the town has more to offer than may first meet the eye, with the picturesque state park nearby, some amazing historical sites, and a river float experience to try.
Twisters is truly a hidden gem in Guernsey! The staff were exceptional, the food was delicious, and it felt like staying in a home instead of a hotel. The bookshelf to take or leave a book was a thoughtful addition I enjoyed! Wonderful experience overall and would love to stay here again!
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the matress wasn't comfortable. The place is decorated so cute, the people are kind, breakfast is delicious. I will definitely stay again.
DELICIOUS BREAKFAST! We are in the area for Military Training and have popped in a few times for breakfast and lunch and it hits the spot just right!! Their portions are almost perfect, the flavor is on point and the price is pretty good for the quality! Definitely make it a point to stop in and eat here if you're passing through or just hungry!!
